You've Got the POWER!

OH how I love this picture!

Like the little boy in this picture, some of you may be feeling small, insignificant, or looked over. But he’s not allowing his size to stop him from being strong, courageous, and bold! When we are operating in our own strength it’s inevitable that we will feel burned out, unappreciated, unnoticed, unloved, and not affirmed. We may feel drained, frustrated, and worn down. OH, but we have ONE who lives in us – the HOLY SPIRIT who is ready to give us the strength, stamina, boldness, creativity, wisdom, discernment, and favor needed.

The Holy Spirit assumes so many roles in our lives. But among them is wonderful COUNSELOR (1 John 2:27). He is our knowledgeable and experienced Guide. Let Him teach you the ways of God. He knows where you’ve been, where you are and more importantly where you are going. Everything He shows you is in accordance with God’s will for your life. And the best part is you don’t have to pay to sit on His couch. His sessions are FREE! Glory!

He’s also our COMFORTER (John 14:26). He comes to the rescue like no one else can. He rushes in when everyone else rushes out! We tend to find false or temporary comfort through people, places or things. But HIS comfort is like no other because He heals, protects, and reassures.

And finally, He is our COVERER (made that word up). But He covers us in prayer (Romans 8:26-27). He prays for us according to our God-given purpose and destiny. I don’t know about you, but some folk don’t know how to truly pray for me, and then some might even PREY over me. Get it? But He, the Holy Spirit will always pray us into the place of God’s strength, wisdom, and favor. He will pray us into becoming exactly who God created us to be.

When we rely upon and lean on the Holy Spirit, pretty soon, like the boy in this picture; we will begin to soar and will encourage others to do the same. Whether it's your husband, significant other, children, family members or your dog Fido, others will be inspired!

YOU CAN DO THIS! Shrug off the disbelief, pity, and negativity and let’s do this thing! We can do ALL things through Christ Jesus! Philippians 4:13.
